Holly Johnson was born and raised in Southeast Idaho, having grown up in both Teton Valley and Rexburg. She is a graduate of Madison High School and served a French-speaking mission in the Mascarene Islands. Holly earned an associate degree from Ricks College in general studies and then a bachelor’s degree from BYU-Idaho in university studies, with an emphasis in English and a minor in French. Holly and her husband, Rob, have been married for nine years, and together they have five children. Holly enjoys spending time with her family, as well as swimming, skiing, and traveling to new places. Sister Johnson has served in several callings in the Church, including Relief Society Counselor, Primary President, Young Women President, Primary teacher, and assistant camp director.
