Trish Carvajal was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and later moved to Miami, Florida. She graduated from Miami Dade Community College with an associate degree in 1994 and later earned her bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University- Idaho in December of 2021. She has been employed at BYU-Idaho for seven years and began her career on campus as the Event Management Office Assistant and now works as the University Scheduling Manager.  Trish Carvajal met her husband, Manny, in Miami. They have been married for over 32 years. All three of their sons were born while they lived in Florida, and in 2006, their family moved to Idaho Falls. Trish and Manny are grandparents to seven grandchildren. Trish enjoys cycling, scrapbooking, and spending time with her grandkids. Manny was recently released from serving as the bishop of the Dunbar YSA Ward, where Trish also served as a Relief Society Advisor and Family History Consultant.
