Devotional: Melissa Everett

Melissa grew up in the states of Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming. After high school, she spent a year in Italy as a foreign exchange student. She later returned to Milan, Italy, as a missionary. She attended Ricks College for a year, and then earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Brigham Young University in the field of health promotion. Melissa has taught nutrition, health and fitness, and online university skills courses at BYU-I as an online adjunct since 2009 and has worked full-time as an Online Instructor Manager since 2016. She worked in corporate fitness and public health and taught at Salt Lake Community College as an adjunct instructor for 18 years.  After finishing graduate school, Melissa married her husband, Brent. They currently live in Lehi, Utah, with their three children. Sister Everett’s favorite church callings have been Primary chorister, temple ordinance worker, and her current service with her husband who is the bishop of a YSA ward in Provo.
