Laura Paulsen Howe began working as the Art Curator at the Church History Museum in 2019. She curated With This Covenant in My Heart: The Art and Faith of Minerva Teichert and the 12th and 13th International Art Competitions, including Lift Up the Hands that Hang Down, currently on display at the Church History Museum. Laura likes to think about how to use art to make sure all Latter-day Saints can see themselves in LDS history. She has also recently authored a chapter on the history of international art competitions at the Church History Museum published in Latter-day Saint Art: A Critical Reader. She has presented at BYU Education Week and has appeared on podcasts such as the Latter-day Saint Women Podcast and the Church News Podcast.
Laura is married to Tyler Howe and has four children.
