Devotional: John Mackenzie

John Mackenzie was raised in Randolph, Ohio. He served a mission in the Philippines Naga Mission. He received his associate degree from Ricks College, a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in management information systems from BYU, and an MBA from Idaho State University. John has worked in the IT Department for 21 years in various roles including Programmer/Analyst, Solutions Architect, and IT Project Manager. He currently leads the IT Project Management team. Prior to working at BYU-Idaho, he worked in various IT roles in Northeast Ohio at Alltel Information Services, Software Answers, and Timken Steel.

John and his wife, Bree, have five children. He enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family.
