Details

Daris Howard received an associate degree from Ricks College. He continued on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree from Utah State University, both in math. He then received a doctorate in education from American College of Education. Daris is a syndicate short story columnist and has written 25 books and 22 plays and musicals. He teaches courses in both mathematics and computer science. Brother Howard served a full-time mission in Rochester, New York. He has also served in two bishoprics, as elders quorum president, and in many other callings. His favorite callings have been Scoutmaster and primary chorister. Daris, and his wife, Donna, have ten children and 14 grandchildren with two more on the way. They have also been foster parents to many others.
