Dear Society members,
It is that time to look ahead for new officers in 2022, but before then we would like to thank Haley Brown for being our first society president, Alain Brett for being our communications officer, Bailey Vanderkolk for being our activities officer, and Mason Park for being our secretary. We have enjoyed a great founding year in large part to them.
We invite society members who are interested in applying for these open volunteer positions to send emails to advisor Brother Ryan Gardner directly at gardnerry@byui.edu
Job descriptions:
The President shall:
a) Be vested with all executive powers of the Society unless otherwise delegated within the Bylaws.
b) Preside at all meetings of the Society or of the Executive Body.
c) See that all officers of the Society perform the duties assigned to them in an efficient manner.
d) Provide leadership and direction to the academic society.
e) Establish short and long-range objectives and goals in conjunction with other society officers.
The Secretary shall:
a) Record minutes at each meeting.
b) Ensure that the scheduled meetings, activities, and events do not conflict with one another.
c) Inform the society officers on upcoming tasks, and events.
d) Maintain complete and up-to-date copies of the society’s organizational documents.
The Communication Specialist shall:

Determine which position you are most interested in and apply with Brother Gardner gardnerry@byui.edu before the deadline of November 30. Chosen candidates will attend the final officers meeting in early December for training.
