The Symphony Band will perform its final concert of the Winter semester on Thursday, March 23 at 7:30 PM in the Barrus Concert Hall. The concert will feature a variety of original works written for the wind band, including El Camino Real by Alfred Reed and the Mannin Veen by Hayden Wood. Senior Liz Banks will be featured, performing “Beautiful Colorado” on her euphonium, and a new composition by our 1st Clarinetist Ryan Terry will receive its debut performance. A fabulous transcription of Florence Beatrice Price’s “Dances in the Canebrakes” will also be presented. Please join us for an evening of great music!!! Cost is $3 for students/$6 for public.
