David Belka, BYU-Idaho art faculty member, seeks to photograph notable artistic marks on the land, made by both natural and artificial processes. His works go beyond documentation to portray each image as an individual work of art, with careful consideration to lighting, design, and conceptual relevance. This exhibit offers viewers opportunities to slow down and appreciate the beauty of our surroundings, considering the question, “What makes something a work of art”.
We hope you enjoy this exhibit! Gallery Hours: Monday – Friday 9 a.m. -8 p.m.; Sat. 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sunday Closed.
